Reading Scales
To read scales, you need to know what each division represents.
To do this:
- Find the difference between the larger pips.
- Count the number of divisions between them.
- Divide the difference by the number of divisions.
This gives the value of each division.

So each pip is worth 125 ml.
The dot is 3/4 of 500 ml.
