Reflection Graph

Graph y = f(x) and its reflection y = -f(x)

Function Input

Use sin(x), cos(x), tan(x), exp(x), powers like x^2, 3x, etc.

Quick examples:

Show y = f(x)

Show y = -f(x)

What this shows

This tool graphs your function y = f(x) and its reflection y = -f(x), which flips the graph in the x‑axis.

  • Positive values become negative
  • Negative values become positive
  • Zeros stay in the same place

Try different functions and see how the reflection behaves. Notice that the shape is the same, but every point is mirrored vertically.
