Finding other derivatives by first principles

If f(x) = g(x) + h(x)  ,  f’(x) = g’(x) + h’(x) 

 

Example

   If f(x) = x² +2 , find f’ (x)

 

Example

   If f(x) = x² +2x , find f’ (x)

Example

   If f(x) =x² +2x +3, find f’ (x)

 

  

   If f(x) = x³ +2x² - 3x + 4, find f’ (x)
